Mr Chan serves as independent director on listed companies MFS Technology Ltd and SNP Corporation Ltd. He is Chairman of the Singapore Sports Council, Singapore Indoor Stadium and Sistic.  In addition, he serves on other public sector bodies. Mr Chan holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) degree from University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of California , Los Angeles .
