As a Cap Vista investment manager, Julie actively scouts, negotiates and manages strategic investments for DSTA.

Prior to joining Cap Vista, Julie was with the Sensor Systems Department (SSD) at DSTA for 3 years, where she managed multi-million dollar acquisition projects for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Julie holds a concurrent appointment as Technology Manager in the Directorate of Research and Development (DRD), DSTA, where she formulates long-term technology roadmaps and manages R&D projects in the area of Space.

Julie obtained her direct MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH, Royal Institute of Technology), Sweden, in 2004 while on a DSTA scholarship. She graduated 1 year ahead of her cohort average and is fluent in the Swedish language, after having spent 5.5 years in Sweden. She is currently a CFA candidate.
