Chin Chin holds a concurrent appointment as the Senior Manager for the Information Assurance Technology Programme in DSTA. She leads a team providing cyber security threat risk assessment, threat modelling, security design review, vulnerability assessment and solutioning to ensure that security is conscientiously designed for throughout the system development lifecycle. Chin Chin also plays an active role in planning and formulating cyber security strategy, masterplans and solutions architecture to guide information assurance development and implementation within MINDEF and DSTA.

Chin Chin has more than 10 years of experience in Infocomm infrastructure design and implementation, supporting MINDEF, MHA and DSTA in the areas of enterprise data networks, network perimeter defence, identity access management solutions, IT disaster recovery solutions, application development, vulnerability assessment and security validation and audit.

Chin Chin graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Sciences (with Merit). She has also attained a Masters in Defence Technology & Systems from Temasek Defence Systems Institute, NUS and Masters in Computer Science (Information Assurance) (with Distinction) from US Naval Postgraduate School under the DSTA postgraduate scholarship.
