Sim Kok Wah is  the General Manager of Cap Vista. He is also concurrently a Programme Manager at the Air Systems Programme Centre and the DSTA Masterplanning & Systems Architecting. He has extensive experience in managing UAV-related projects as well as modelling and simulation experiments. He was also involved in the evaluation work in the Next Fighter Replacement (NFRP) programme.

A recipient of the PSC – Japanese Monbusho Scholarship, he graduated from Osaka University in 1996 with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.  He was the first foreigner to receive the prestigious Kusumoto Award for being the top student in his EEE department. He  obtained  Japanese Language Proficiency Level One (AIEJ) in 1994. He further graduated with MSc (MOT) and MBA degrees from NUS in 2000 and 2003 respectively.
