As an Investment Manager at Cap Vista, Ming Jern is responsible for identifying and structuring investments, as well as managing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Cap Vista, he was involved in the management of large-scale, multi-million dollar projects at DSTA. For a period of 2 years, he was attached to the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Plans Department as Capability Development Consultant where his roles included master planning, systems architecting and systems engineering.
Ming Jern was awarded the DSTA scholarship in 1997 and earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (highest honors) from the University of California, Berkeley as well as a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He will be completing his Masters in Financial Engineering (taken on a part-time basis) from the National University of Singapore in 2008.
