Tech Highlights: Neuro‑AI platform to strengthen mission‑critical operations

Beyond Biometrics: Measuring the Mind in Mission Environments

In defence operations, understanding human cognition is vital, as mission success often hinges on readiness under pressure. Traditional biometrics provide indirect indicators but fall short in capturing real time neuro responses that truly define actual performance.

Electroencephalogram (EEG) technology changes that, offering a direct window into the brain for precise measurement of cognitive states and unlocking new ways to enhance resilience and effectiveness.

InnoBrain: Turning Brain Signals into Mission Advantage

InnoBrain, a Swedish startup spun off from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, combines non invasive EEG with advanced AI to deliver real time insights into attention, fatigue, and stress. Its neuro AI platform strengthens mission critical operations and elevates training simulations through adaptive feedback, ensuring systems align with human cognitive limits to keep operators' mission ready.

Transforming neural data into actionable insights through real time cognitive monitoring and data driven performance analysis.

From Insight to Impact: Smarter Training, Stronger Performance with AI approach

InnoBrain was contracted under Cap Vista Accelerator ↗ (opens in new tab)- Solicitation 1.0, aligned with the challenge statement on enhancing training through cognitive analysis. Their simulator agnostic solution applies EEG based insights to refine differentiated operator training.

InnoBrain leverages a modular AI approach to extract a wide range of cognitive attributes, which significantly enhances the effectiveness of training programmes. This is particularly evident in land-based driving scenarios, where understanding and optimising cognitive states are critical for operator’s performance.

By integrating both live and simulator-based trainings, InnoBrain’s solution ensures that mental states are continuously monitored and adjusted. This approach better understand human-system interaction that influences safety, performance and mission outcome.
